  1. I prefer to train for health and combat readiness. The lightest bodyweight I can maintain as possible, as strong as possible, and as much cardio fitness as possible. Bodybuilding and strongman training have become too caught up in the sport/game/competition to be practically useful for the average person, imo. I need to be able to function day to day without any detriments regardless of my training routine as I am not getting paid for it.

  2. there was a training programm for this,. called hollistic training.

You put your Cycles into the Training itself, alternate Reps and weights inbetween excercises. Was a Gamechanger for me.

  3. Im not allowed to got to the gym because im 12, i understand why i really do. we kids are so dumb that sometimes i ask myself if we even are the same species but i still wuold like to go to the gym and have better strength and aesthetics.

  4. Fuck this guy is informed. One camp swears by strength, the other by HIT, the other by this and that. He's the only balanced guy that tells you to just fucking choose and get after if. Don't let influencers choose for you.

  5. Now i know which way i need to go.. I was sorta always inclined to hypertrophy training doing super set and drop sets but this Christmas test just done it 😂 i always started looking for my presents like a month ahead all over the house and obviously found them 😂

  6. Once your body recruits this motor neurons, studies show they stay employed even if you quit working out for years. It’s like their on PTO until you start up again. This is know as muscle memory. That’s why after years of not working out and then getting back into it; you gain a lot faster.

  7. I just don't get it. I have been working out for 10 years, and I can't get bigger.
    I've done HIT
    I've isolated
I've gone High Weight, Low Rep
I've done low weight and High Rep
I've taken the protein shakes (1g of protein for each pound of body weight)
    I've taken the weight gainers

I just can't seem to get any bigger than 215lbs, at 6'3"

  8. I know this is older material but I just discovered you Ryan, when I was searching for ways to shit talk the young ones at the gym. Just kidding…or am I?

Listen Ryan I like your rhythm and shit talk some of its good some of it is sus and sometimes you don't speak through the right orifice. At 4:24 you say " Who cares how strong you are". See that shit is ego. YOU should care how strong you are, not just how you look, that statement can mean the difference between life and death.

After 40, we as males, even the big stupid ones, start to lose muscle strength at a rate of 1-3% a year. If you don't believe me look at the research coming out of Harvard and Standford. By the time we are 60 that idea about strength not mattering is going to flip you on your ass and not in a good way. By 80, well you can see the path clearly towards full body failure. Now I realize I'm not your demographic ( I'm 56) you seem to cater to the younger cats hoping to rip a shirt so Barbie can swoon over their marshmallow dicks and spunk machine.
However I will tell you this, "age:, its coming like a freight Train for all of us, so you better train like your life depends on it, because it does.

And finally for all those saying they are "Natty" it didn't work for the Liver King and it ain't working for you either.

    Stay golden old man.
