KYLE XY (2006)
Show got cancelled
I was mad they cancelled Dark Matter but they favoured Killjoys….
Firefly was assassinated by somebody. It was a brilliant show they went out of their way to sabotage.
Dark Matter was a clever and well thought out show that really was cancelled just as it got going. A real shame about this one.
V (both original miniseries) ran its course and was quite frankly due to end. It had nowhere else to go.
The remake was a real mistake long, convoluted and obviously a writer's wet-dream gone wrong…
The Sarah Connor Chronicles is an example of a spin-off being better than the original. It could have gone further and it was a shame how they ended it, it destroyed the show. Writers thinking they were being clever…
Farscape died because the entire cast went to perpetuate SG-1 instead. They bet on the wrong horse that time, SG-1 had run its 10 seasons, Farscape could have run a few more seasons.
**Terra Nova,
**Tremors the series
**Defiance
**Andromeda died because they went bankrupt.
**Stargate Atlantis could have gone another couple seasons easily, instead they made a Stargate soap opera
John Doe, loved it. Also ended on a cliffhanger.
didn't they make a destiny 2 tv series from the game ?
As a Sci-Fi enthusiast myself I say farscape did very well and has just enough seasons to make it memorable any good collection to have on your DVD shelf that right next to Babylon 5. Great sci-fi shows have a high level of diversity in characters characters with unique traits and behaviors that make them their own and give them their own elements that is what I consider to be a great sci-fi show.
Dark Angel
Firefly, did not die, it was murdered.
I watched every episode of Almost Human with my wife of 37yrs. We both thought it was great. Nuff said right. It should definitely be on the list.
UFO, Space 1999, Blake's 7, and the big one for me Space Precinct.
Dark Matter really should have had a final season.
Space, above and beyond, was another great series that, was it Fox that killed it off?
Stargate: Universe <<< missing from this list. so you should remake this entire video
Farscape deserved to be cancelled it was crap
Farscape was a rip-off from Buck Roger in the 21st Century. Exactly the same type of story telling. And that's the bottom line cause Stone Cold said so (from 976-CREOLEMAN)!
The original V series shouldn't be on this list, it was a horrible follow-up to the 2 mini-series. Had you listed the reboot, I'd agree with that.
The Early 2000's Twilight Zone is Criminally Underrated
Dark Matter was a really good show with good story lines and vary good cast. It could have gone on for a long time!
I would love to see a reboot of The Star Lost, early 1970’s.
If studio execs want to know why great shows dont always get great ratings, its because they keep on cancelling shows that end on a cliffhanger. Im not going to get invested in a story that never ends. I'll wait a season or two. Cancelling a show isn't the crime. Its the fucking cliffhanger! Stop it already!
Ark ll was left out
Sci-fi fans always get the shaft.
Firefly and Dark Matter, those the only two I hope not been canceled.
Some of my favorite shows!
In the voice of Capt James T. Kirk…."FOOOOOXXXX!!!" ECHOES THROUGH ETERNITY!
"Space: Above & Beyond" should be on this list!
dark matter was amazing…. i really wish that had more time. the story was good
Problem with firefly was no one heard about it until it was over. I LOVED that show but binged the entire thing two years after it was cancelled.
Farscape was a cult classic with a good few seasons. Sarah Connor Chronicles was a tragedy it didn't get a 3rd season. Firefly was famously a cult classic, just wonderful. Dark Matter was highly underrated hidden gem – definitely deserved another season. Show got better and better, with characters and deeper scope of world building.
