I’ve been a conservative, born again Christian for 50 yrs. Am not a fan of a Christian theocracy government and it wasn’t what Jesus preached. When Jesus Christ rules during the millennium we will have a true Christian Theocracy. Before then, having humans in charge of a theocracy would be a mess. His plan is for people to have a change of heart, not force sinners to abide by laws enforced by a religious group. How many religious wars have been fought trying to accomplish this?

You can be a Christian and a nationalist, but that's not what the left is talking about when they call someone a Christian Nationalist.
They are talking about people who want a theocracy, and they want fear of that to be a weapon against Christians who love their country. America has many Christian denominations, and it wasn't built to force everyone the worship under one of those churches. It was built to uphold each person's right to worship how they chose. Many of the founders were Christians, but they didn't all share one theology or church. Be careful using the term Christian Nationalist unless you mean it the way the left does.

I am perfectly OK with Christianity. However, a theocracy makes me nervous. Does that mean that Christianity will be rammed down all of our throats?
Yes, I am an Atheist. I am one that has made his peace with Christianity. And I am with Dawkins. Give me Christianity over Islam every darn time.
However, I don't want anyone's ideology rammed down my throat. There are a lot of positive things about Christianity, and I have seen it in the many Christian countries I've visited vs. Islamic countries. Islamics are much more likely to do the throat-ramming than Christians, but I've experience both.
And yes, the Romans tried to ram their ideologies down the throats of Christians back in early history. I am against that, obviously.
I have a very complicated view of religiosity and the human condition. I am not even sure I should call myself an Atheist anymore. But this is not the venue for this discussion. I think we can co-exist peacefully.
Jesus said that shortly before he arrives the world will be as in the days of Noah. 100% wicked. Apostasy will increase. More false
prophets leading people astray. The world going downhill. Jesus said so. No Church movement or politician can stop it.
Man is helpless against it. So we do the job given us, the great commission.
The Christians of the 1rst century turned their world upside down, they were such a force to be reconed with that they affected their culture around them, for Jesus said wash the inside of the cup and dish and the outside will be clean, and that goes to the world around us, we influence our communites and nations by default.
We cannot simoply worship God then leave it and go on like nothing is dirrerent, if we have true faith in Him we WILL have an impacr on the culture around us.
I beleive that western European and North American culture is still blessed because the Word also says of those who live a righteous life, the blessings they reaped because of their obedience will be passed down to 1000 generations, even when these future gens are not always living for God,
still that blessing and the prayers of their ancestors passes on to be answered long after their lives on this terra firma, have ended.
As Jesus prayed for all future generation humanity for those who would beleive on Him.
likewise the evil perped by the wicked lasts for only 10 generations assuming then that their legasy fades away, as in the left's anti human agenda is already cursing them with dwindling numbers of supporters for the most part they don't have children, or maybe only 1 per family,
which they start to contaminate with bazzar beliefs right from little, altering their bodies to be part of " the club" they even mutilae their children so they can no longer procreate.
So the left's chaotic unballanced influence is fading fast, becaus of how truly inverted they are. and as fewer and fewer people will accept their way,
whereas the legacy of the righteous will continue because we have children and pass on our values, so even of they for a season fall into the trap of the left agenda,
Most will see after they are older how absurd it is and want what their ancestors had, and will strive, particularly after they have children, to return to that way.
So even when our future generations fall away they are still under the blessing because of our prayers for them and the faith/cultural values/principles autmatically passed on, that in and of it's self still has ifluence on the cultural expectations of future gens.
The generations of the righteous will still want to marry and have children and bring them up with some faith values, this influence lasts long decades and centuries afterwards and will see revivals and many happy returns periodically which will bring many within that sphere back to the blessed ole Bible.
So we now see the pendulum swinging back as pendulums always do, because the younger gens see what a mess is made when a cilvilization goes over the line to the extreme and they want the balance and stability that is our natural state set in place by God.
God placed in us the yearning to connect with Him and have a stable secure life on Christ the firm foundation for oursleves and our children's children.

Remember the "God gene"? That was the notion that belief in, say, God is merely an evolutionary adaptation that bestows a survival advantage upon believers in the process of natural selection. So, given that scientific fact, we can now dispense with belief in God. It's just in our genes. Wait. If belief in God bestows a survival advantage in evolution, doesn't it behoove you to truly believe?

But, when America burns, the Lord will raise China, Japan, and other nations to go against the Russians. They will beat the Russians and push them all the way to the gates of Paris. Over there they will make a treaty, and appoint the Russians as their leaders. They will then unite against Israel. When Israel realizes she does not have the strength of America behind her, she will be frightened. That's when she will turn to the Messiah for deliverance. That's when the Messiah will come. Then, the church will meet Jesus in the air, and he will bring them back with Him to the Mount of Olives. At that time, the battle of Armageddon will be fought." When I heard all of this I said, "if you are truly the angel of the Lord, and everything you have told me is true, then all you have said must be written in the Bible." He said, "Tell everyone to read from Jeremiah 51:8-15, Revelation chapter 18, and Zechariah chapter 14, where Christ fights against those who possess the earth. After His victory," the angel said, "there will be one flock and one Shepherd. There will be no need for light. The Lamb of God will be the Light. There will be no sickness, no tears, and no deaths. There will only be eternal joy and God will be the ruler. There will be only one language. Only one song. And no need for a translator! … And, Dumitru," he continued, "a word of warning. If you keep anything from the American people that you are told, I will punish you severely." "How will I know that this is for real -that it will really happen?" I asked. "As a sign that I have spoken to you, tomorrow before you wake, I will send someone to bring you a bed, and at noon I will send you a car and a bucket of honey. After which I will send someone to pay your rent." The next day someone brought Dumitru a bed, and at noon a car arrived with the bucket of honey. His rent was also paid, as God had promised him.
