The dude in the gas station was inaccurate until the kiss thing. IRL he would not stop talking no matter how many hints given that she wants/needs to leave, and he would take responsibility for the murder with tryhard edgelord pride, and he would act like an expert on disposal of a body whilst doing nothing to help actually dispose of said body.
