  1. Last year I got the entire H: LOTS for $40 on Amazon. I won't get get Blu-Ray since seasons 1+2 were shot on VHS. Once it jumped from two miniseires to real reasons, they moved to film.

  2. Homicide Life On The Street is a phenomenal show. I bought all the DVDs and backed them up to my server years ago and it’s the best thing I ever did. The acting is absolutely top notch, and the writing just was so ahead of its time.

  3. This is EXACTLY the reason why physical media and streaming media can co-exist. With that thing outta the way, I have trouble finding Dragonar Academy volume 3 manga and Hundred on Blu-ray because they are so needlessly expensive when they should be readily available and sell for a reasonable price.

  4. I'm still in shock that Disney( well not shock just stupidity) hasn't added Ray Bradbury's "Something Wicked This Way Comes" to their library. After all it is a Disney film from 1983. Stars Jason Robards, Diane Ladd, Jonathon Pryce, and Pam Grier. It's hard to find any where but on the used market on DVD and VHS.

  5. The tv show from the 1980s, Wiseguy doesn’t seem to be anywhere. It was partially released on DVD many years ago but doesn’t seem available anymore anywhere.

  6. I misunderstood the title of the video completely. I thought we were talking about films we can't look anymore because they are hard to watch today, due to sexism, homophobia etc.

  7. The Abyss is available right now on one of the streaming services I subscribe to, I just watched it a few weeks ago.
If I really like a TV show or movie I get the DVD as soon as it's available because unless you can physically hold it in your hand (DVD or Blu-ray) you don't own it and you can't rely on it being around in the future. What I'm waiting for on DVD right now is the third season of The Orville. It's only available on Blu-ray right now.

  8. The abyss and Willow are available to watch on you tube. 82 episodes of homicide life on the streets also available on you tube as also Pink Floyd's the Wall and the brave little toaster also on transtEr Lexington's page. And I just watched happiness on YouTube as well. Pretty much all the movies you have listed here and shows are available on YouTube which is a free streaming channel. I don't know if it matters that I'm in the United States but these are all accessible on my you tube

  9. Two things, I knew an assistant editor on Millennium and the ending of the second season was supposed to be the end of the show. And, Kids is technically owned by Disney who won it in a bidding war, realized what they had and created a dummy company called Excalibur Films so they can release it in theaters.

  10. Interesting that you included Kids on this list. I saw it in the local art house cinema and liked it well enough. I have the impression that many films that are controversial-for example, films dealing with kids (pun intended) or teens and sex/sexuality, or that would offend the adherents of the major religions- often have a brief showing in the art house venues, then disappear: You don't want your steaming service or company walloped or boycotted for showing films that are too "out there."

  11. Things like this are why I still buy DVD's. Not only do they not disappear, but I can watch them whenever I want without having to wait or hope they're on some streaming service I may not have.
While not movie or show wise I'm also a HUGE acvicate for physical video games. Too many are lost to the void when support for the online services for a console shut down. All those lost digital games.

  12. If you make another one of these, Two Guys and a Girl should go on the list. The show that introduced me to the comedic brilliance of Ryan Reynolds and it’s impossible to find. You can’t even pirate it 😅
