I've decided to watch this after being put off by various critics.
Is the Acolyte the worst Star wars I've seen, no. Is it the best, no. If you like Star Wars would you like it maybe? I've just finished it and to be honest I think it's ok.One incident of 'The Message!' but not too bad. I think the last seasons of Book of Bona Fett was much worse. Some great fight scenes in this programme.
At this point star wars has been so ruined that I don't even want to watch the originals anymore
Lucasfilm (under George) had a 60 episode show written and ready to shoot that Disney threw away day one. That show would have been the biggest thing since the first 3 movies. Disney should not and will not be forgiven for destroying this IP. Don’t even let them forget.
How sad is it that some of the best things it’s made are Andor, Mandolrian, and Clone Wars S7.
I'm so lucky. I never bought into streaming services so I never hear about these atrocities until AFTER they happen, and I never have to see them. Ignorance truly is bliss.
