As a newbie to the gym this channel has helped me massively, not only for technical info but also motivation, doesnt complicate it. So just want to say thanks 👍🏻
this man had such a calm and easy-going manner about him that it made it very easy to listen to his direction and follow along with his workouts. Not only that, but he didn’t overload you with a lot of conjecture, or other random comments he just focused on the lifts and the workouts.

Ho Lee Chit, I know that guy, he’s my cousin. Not sure why John has my cousin’s name printed on a t shirt that he frequently flaunts at the gym. That Ho still owes me 20 bucks from fantasy football.
Ok I just read today (11-24-2022 6:05pm)about mountain dogs passing ……. My god I just found this guy like 3 months ago allot of help he has given me it is so strange rn
It's quite difficult sometimes whenever I get a notification from Mountain Dog, knowing that John has passed on. Still I click and watch his video giving those valuable tips. I watch and just remind myself he has created a great impact on the bodybuilding world. Thanks for this John.
His style of videos were so good. Theyre informative, and motivating.
Saying that I could also watch John's videos when I want to wind down, I can't explain how he could be both motivating and therapeutic at the same time depending how you feel.
most of the tricep exercises for me dont agree with my philosophy due to the high impact on the elbow joint. i think volume over intensity is best, and maybe if the exercises were performed with lower weight and higher rep they could be of value. like John was saying, its about the quality of contraction at the end of the day, but i still will shy away from exercises like skull crushers, overhead tricep extensions, etc. because of John, at this point in time i dont do push variations during shoulder day.
This man had so much knowledge and I miss him.
RIP
I have learned so much from him he is the best online
That was really helpful. Thank you.
That dude with the purple halter top at the start of the sitting curls. Geez.
