I was just thinking about today’s young people who claim to be communists & socialist but want trigger warnings because they might break down in tears… their heroes, Mao, Fidel Castro, Ché etc, all committed horrible gruesome acts. Do they think these “heroes of humanity” (as I’ve heard Ché referred to as) would give them trigger warnings? There would be triggers aplenty yes, but warnings? How naïve are these kids… 🤦♂️

Being a human that has ccPTSD(child abuse, beatings in school& medical horrors in Afghanistan& severe bullying in workplaces) I’ve never needed any kind of ‘trigger warning’ because I HAVE THE COMMON SENSE to realize it’s JUST A MOVIE. I have enough brain cells to process a movie or the news with pragmatism & resilience. These ‘special little snowflakes’ lack every quality that life experience develops in your makeup. While I cannot erase the damage I carry I can use it to deal with all kinds of present situations & subjects.
