Lol the plot doesn’t even make sense
For those who didn't understand the ending/who haven't seen this series :
Firstly Borderland is a place between life and death and all the games aren't fr happening but all the people in tokoyo ( possibly only those near meteoroid hit ) share a collective – say dream ….. Those who happen to die in the games ( for eg arisus friends and other face card characters) died in real life because they lost the games but those who managed to survive and make it till the end survived the meteroid attack and were seen in hospital ( ending scene; meaning they r alive in real life ) but they were in the same condition as they were in the last games ( for eg usagi's legs were bleeding in game and later in the hospital too, since chisiya got shot in the game he was in the same condition in real life too) now depending on the closeness to the hit they all entered the borderland in different timelines [ this is a a theory and quite makes sense ] now after finishing last game [ w queen of hearts ] all the survivors were given chance to eighter stay in borderland or decline the offer ; those who decided to stay probably went in coma in real life and others came back
However none of them had any memory of borderland, the games , and didn't remember each other
