This movie WAS NOT of the same quality of other Kevin Sorbo productions. It was Sci-Fi in nature and it portrayed Satan in a role he cannot even pretend to play for as it states in scripture Satan has no power! It was stripped from him when God cast him out of Heaven. Satan has been left powerless and can only tempt us to sin! Now since Satan has no powers of his own and all that weird electrical discharge nonsense going on we know all too well the safest place someone can be in an electrical storm is either inside their car or truck since it's essentially clad in conductive metal and you're thus completly surrounded by a Faraday cage. The lightening isn't going to cut a car or truck in to like an Electronic Disscharge Machine or a Flame Cutter physics simply won't let that happen!
PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! Mr. Sorbo make movies that have a storyline more relevant to the way God wants us to live and how we need to tell Satan he isn't going to get us because we're God's children since we've accepted Jesus The Christ as our Lord and savior!

Good movie! I've never seen this movie before today but earlier last year (2024) I had a terrifying dream about "intelligent" lightning. In my dream, I was out in the country watching enormous black clouds fill the sky. They were terrifying in themselves. Then lightning started, so much lightning. It was hunting down the people who were outside and vaporizing them. It didn't hit anything else, just people. It was hunting people. In my dream I ran to a farmhouse and hid on the front porch behind some furniture. The lightning "walked" up the steps onto the covered porch trying to find me. It didn't, and I woke up shaking with terror. I've read where the fire from the sky referred to in the Book of Revelation is like this, but nobody really knows for sure.

I don't think I watch it again, like a hammy film, acting wasn't good. Seen better ones with Kevin in it.

Lightening is natural like all climate. Climate has been changing naturally for millions of years and lightning is part of it.
Same song, different disaster movie plot. Too many holes in the timeline. One of the three sheriff's dept employees is missing for a day and no one notices. The lady escapes from the doctor's office/hospital and no one notices, etc.
Silly movie. Nice special effects but the plot (I use the word hesitantly) is asinine, the characters are cardboard cut-outs and the acting, well I've seen better from a rock.
