  1. There needs to be a special entity for cults. They are so large you can’t get out by yourself. You click like or comment it looks like they assume your affiliated. I just want out of it. Its taken over three years to figure it out.

  2. Are cult leader aware of their crime ? the fact that they put people in such a community abuse ? Genuine question, because I would naturally think that they are so convinced by their own madness that they don't realize the hurt they are causing

  3. the way he talked about the seminar settings etc when referencing nxivm. Replace NXIVM with southern baptist and replace seminar setting with the classic revival. Often times days on end breaking you down. Ending in great realization AKA receiving the holy ghost. Bam you Cults hiding behind christ based faith aka evangelics and southern baptist.

  4. I think people forget, that even main stream religions are culty. Oh, it always makes me laugh when you see someone who is a hard-core evangelical Christian pointing fingers at other religions and calling then cults. Just because your cult is more main stream doesn’t mean it’s not a cult.

  5. the screaming/group mockery mentioned here is also known as 'keening', a ritual that also takes place in african villages immediately accompanying clitoral butchering (aka female circumcision), the most ridiculously, unimaginably painful 'surgery' known to personhood, and whose purpose is to welcome young girls into the fold….

  6. MLMs are pretty much the same.
When I was studying psychology, I went to their gatherings to observe people.
The stupid stuff I heard would immediately give me a migraine, others thought the same, yet most of them were too desperate and not very smart … so they gave it a try anyway, wasting their money and time.

  7. The scene in MIDSOMMAR with the women crying with her was insane.
Every time I watch the movie, I want to scream with them … powerful stuff.
The movie is amazing, thanks to all the hidden symbolism it's a true masterpiece.

  8. How calculated and self aware are cult leaders usually? To what extent is their indoctrinating practices intentional? Are most cult leaders surprised to be described that way? Or do they only act surprised to their followers and use it as a tool to create that us-vs-them mentality?

  9. You gotta be the most empathetic and patient person in the world to do this job for over 40 years, like I can't hold an online conversation with a flat earther for over 20 responses without feeling the need to call them a different species of organism.
