  1. Went to ER because I couldn’t breathe…inhalers not helping SO Prednisone Saved Me but I think it started with Flu Shot/Mowed the Yard ( mold in FL) and a new kitty! My Eosinophil count exploded and high Lymphocytes OMG 😱

  2. Before I knew what was going on with me I was doing keto, BUT my diet was heavy in fermented foods, especially sauerkraut, hard cheese, and my beloved anchovies. I ate yogurt because I thought it would calm my esophagus but it ended up being a major histamine trigger for me.

  3. What a terrible story of a lifetime of suffering by your child. But you are a trained physician, and so you could not see it. You change jobs because you know 10 minutes is not enough time to separate the cause from the effect. Your alternative healthcare friend sees it, your husband sees it, but you could not see it because you are a trained physician.

Training has consequences. People are indoctrinated into a type of behavior which they are too frightened to depart from. You can see this type of training in countless movies and documentaries where the bright young nurse or doctor is publicly humiliated by the senior staff of a hospital or similar, for the sin of stepping beyond the red line of conformism.

The public know it, the script writers know it, even the trained Doctors and Nurses, that are acting out this ideology, as you did, know it. Training has consequences.

We learn from history that conformity and acceptance is sought by most people. It does not have to be right, or sensible or even sane, it is enough that most people are doing it.

Breaking out of such training cannot be easy, because, if it were, more people would do it. So, you should be proud of the fact that you did break out, eventually. I have respect for you and John, because you did step through that invisible barrier, and lived on.

In the last line of Charles Dickens’s masterpiece, “A tale of two cities”, the antihero says “It is a far, far better thing that I do, than I have ever done, it is a far, far greater rest I go to now, that I have ever known.” Carton’s “greater end” was only the guillotine, but professional isolation is just as frightening to many. Training has consequences.

  4. I am having all the symptoms of MCAS here in Pennsylvania and am searching for a doctor to assist me in my symptoms. This has been going on for three years and is simply horrible. Any doctors that anyone would recommend in Pennsylvania??

  5. In regards to histamine intolerance. I never had any issues before I was poisoned in the hospital by one injection of Depo_Provera. I was bullied to agree to that drug, which I denied at least 5 times because I knew how toxic it was. A few days after this drug, my digestion shut down. I experienced awful acid reflux and began reacting to home made bone broth (a food staple my whole life!). I would get horrible flushing and rosacea on my face, depression and chronic fatigue for a year. It's been 6 years, and it's over. I worked to heal my gut and body, by being patient and living the healthiest lifestyle possible which included a huge reduction in radiation exposure (mobiles, no wifi, etc). I don't use pharma medications and I've not had a vaccine since childhood in the 80's. A serious issue for women's health are hormonal contraceptives, and along side vaccination these should be banned.

  6. I had never heard of it before until recently. I have dealt with a very itchy rash over my body for about a year now. I finally found someone that told me about MCA. I am 60 and have never dealt with it until last year. I have no idea what could have triggered it. Fascinating interview!

  7. I am a biochemist by education but I’ve always my regular doctor doesn’t bother keeping up. I feel like you are way more help. Please make a video on best practices for supplement Vitamin D or precursors. I have been taking 1000 units since March 2020 and have had six Moderna shots. I have not had covid and have only been sick twice with cold symptoms for short periods. You are on top of the Vitamin D biochemistry and I could benefit from a specific regimen based on what you’ve learned in your outstanding interviews.😊

  8. A heart felt thank you to John for providing such a wide array of very interesting & informative health topics. I would like to find out more about MCAS & if there is anyone in Ireland that Dr. Peers would recommend to go to for diagnosis & treatment. Thank you.

  9. Anyone can get extreme fatigue as they get older it’s not just women you can get it from staring at a computer screen all day too but “experts” don’t fkn talk about that god fkn forbid you should ever be dismayed from using their stock market junk

  10. Amazing stuff! Thanks so much. Can we all take a moment to appreciate how young this lady looks. She's born in 1959.. Making her 65 in 2024!! 🤯 .. Clearly doing something right!!

  11. It’s interesting how a lot of the foods that are high in histamine you naturally avoid when you have indigestion/Gerd/heartburn. So these are foods that I avoiding. 🧐 so that is interesting correlation.

  12. From someone who has been suffering from this condition for 4 years, I appreciate you for having this brilliant doctor on the subject. My son and I have both had these severe debilitating symptoms for two years not realizing an apartment with mold was the triggering factor.

  13. I'm a Hereditary Alpha Tryptasemia Syndrome (HATS) patient, and I feel for MCAS sufferers. Histamine and hi tryptase values make our lives brutal at times.

  14. I was glued to this, fascinating. I'd love a short and simple explanation video with starting point examples to share with my 30yr old son. I really think this is his gut problem that multiple docs have not been able to figure out.

  15. i think i have just found out i have mcas, i am waiting on biopsies but hearing the symptoms and triggers it appears very very similar to how i have been feeling the last 3 years! I have no help where i am from though and i am not in the UK but in the channel islands. Would love to go see someone like Dr Peers but no idea how to go about that.

  16. I’ve known I have mcas for a long time, I haven’t approached my Dr as they don’t know about this at all. I can only eat ruminant animals without reaction, I react to chicken, pork and ground meat too, it’s really hard.

  17. In my opinion Dr Tina Peers is THE world expert on MCAS: I first heard her in an interview with Dr Mobeen Syed (Dr Been) and that was where I learned that I have MCAS. That interview changed my life – she mentioned sodium cromoglycate and I found the eye drops in the UK, but have to import the nasal spray from the USA. Game changer for me, because antihistamines definitely adversely affect my brain and were turning me into a sleepy zombie. I read Dr Afrin’s book and realised that most of the disparate conditions that have ruined my life since childhood are actually due to MCAS.
In the video above with Dr Campbell Dr Peers mentioned Mico Sol capsules from Hifas da Terra and so I’ve been taking them now for about 7 weeks: I cannot BELIEVE how much better I am. I am beyond grateful to this wonderful doctor and to Dr Campbell for inviting her to share her wisdom, THANK YOU BOTH: you are a credit to the medical profession.

  18. Such utter stupidity to close the contraceptive clinics because it must now cost Surrey county council much more in terms of providing care for young single mothers and their children.
