What’s really helped my relationship with God is dissecting the Scriptures. When you dissect the Scriptures, you study a passage verse by verse and ask the Holy Spirit for His understanding. Write it down. After you receive understanding on a certain passage, search for ways you can apply that scripture to your life.
A channel called “We Are Jesus Doers” teaches this way. They also have bible studies and homework. It’s so enriching to be in the word so deeply.

I agree we are not saved by works salvation. We are saved by our Belief and Faith in our Savior Jesus Christ alone. What brings works is The Holy Spirit. Not salvation. One puts their faith in Jesus then the Spirit guides us day in day out to works. The Spirit puts the Law on our hearts and our desire to live as a Christian. The Spirit gives us the fruits of the Spirit..so amazing.
