Some people just transcend the sport they dominate and become so great they become an icon. It's like he was put on the planet from outa space to show how it should be done
Imagine what he could have achieved if the guy that told him what he could have achieved hadn't died before he achieved it?
Instead of being taken advantage of, and being KO'd by Douglas, and the sad Mickey Mouse fights that plagued his career, he could have been sitting on a throne of skulls by now.
Emanuel Steward said once that punching power was going away with age. Tyson lost it too post 1995. Had he fought against Lewis or Holy in 1986-88, he would have eaten them for breakfast. Even both of them at once…

Man!… so many businesses/employees need to understand that! in today's society.
I've walked out of three places where I used to give my business to in the past month. Simply because of rude young employees who treated me very rudely. I will no longer give my hard earned money to any business that treats me in such a way.
It's EVERYWHERE in today's millennial snowflake/Z generation. These young people are so ill-mannered and narcissistic that they only care about themselves. To the point that they are destroying the businesses that they are working for.
One of the best boxing docs I've watched in a while. The relationship Mike had with Cus and Kevin, his childhood, the loss of his mom. It created this perfect storm of a man.
Whoever spliced the footage of Rooney and Mike doing head movement drills & the end result in the ring should be given a cookie. That was sweeeeeeeet!!!!
If Floyd mayweather took punches from mike tyson, Floyd would have a deformed face and body I guarantee anybody would agree 100%❤I love tyson boxing forever 🤜
After Tyson was released from prison , anyone who's been around Boxing could clearly see that he wasn't the same fighter . His hand speed was still good , but not lightning fast as before Prison. Side to side Movement was visibly slower , he was flatfooted in Punch exchanges . It was Sad to see really .
Mike Tyson when he was young and focused was the greatest heavyweight champion of all time. If he had stayed with his original training team and stayed focused he would have retired undefeated as the greatest heavyweight of all time.
I identify as a man who boxes and loves boxing and this kind of speed and strength in the movement is something, to which every boxer aspires to. Love Tyson!
I know Mike couldn't keep Cus from passing away and Cus helped keep Mike humble in those days but Mike's biggest mistake was getting rid of everyone else who actually cared about him as a man not simply a paycheck like Kevin Rooney and allowed that piece of shit Don King into his life
Cus was prophetic, in Mike Tyson's rise and fall. He got distracted after Cus passed away and so he lost interest. Therefore, he became less than he could've been. Even still, he is an amazing boxer and has come so far as a person. To hear him speak now and reflect on who he was and who he has become is inspiring.
Because some of these smartphones are pretty damn dumb I had to do another. God I can't thank you enough that I'm still not dead from brain cancer from these freaking cowards. Wonder who would have won between Tyson and Lewis in 1987!

(1986-1988) was his best form. After that he was still, or entering his "prime", but he wasn't 100% full dedicated or disciplined.
