Our storied History is starting is starting to add chapters to its book. both.1950 & 1993 were WS appearances. and 1-yr stories…….. the 1976-83 chapter, with both a WS title & WS appearance….. The 2007-11 Chapter with both a WS title & WS appearance.,. as that run was a very emotional as the Phils had won 5 playoff series in a row in 2008-09..in their previous 125 year history THE PHILLIES HAD WON ONLY 4 PLAYOFF SERIES ALL TIME……. now the 2022- ?? Chapter with a WS appearance. and the best is yet to come. we are starting to have some real history.. my love for this team started in the 1976 season as a 13 yr old hiding my transistor radio under my pillow from my parents…. listening to a west coast gm start time, 11pm in SF as Jim Kaat pitched a complete gm as the score was 0-0 until the bottom of the 9th, Giant Bobby Mercer hit one over the candlestick park wall in RF for the gm winner.
Harper not like running? He doesn't hustle to first and didn't even try to get back to first base. Its not stopping the wins but it's def hurt this team a few times
Say what you want about Phils not playing anybody, All good teams will have plenty of games vs mediocre talent this year. You win the games that are on your schedule ,this teams doing that at a frightening clip…..Go Phil's!!!
