i liked John Wayne movies at a very young age but at the same time i was often disappointed not see more serious acting roles like the other actors like G.Cooper,J.Stewart,H.Fonda etc,etc but as years went by i realized that even if Wayne played Shakespeare he would still be John Wayne on the screen and thats when i began to like the duke more then before and still do till this day,A unique actor with a unique screen presence.
The thing about people who don't like John Wayne is that its not enough to just not watch his films . They have to tell everyone that they don't like him. Generally these are people with major insecurities and a very limited intellect. They leave idiotic comments because the responses they are hoping for are the closest thing to human interaction in their lives.
