Oh man. David Rappaport (The Wizard). Killed himself while filming the episode "The Most Toys" for Star Trek TNG.
Shadow chaser I don't remember that one
If I'm not Not mistaken Dennis Quaid was in wizards and warriors the movie
Forgot "v".
8:13
12 light years is not "across the galaxy."
That distance BARELY contains the 3 or 4 stars closest to Earth (out of hundreds of millions of other stars).
Cool 1980s clasic TV show series episodes be safe in Christ God Bless you and your whole family tree and friends
For a while; the Sci-Fi Channel played many of these classics.
The Phoenix! Judson Scott. I ran into him at some sci-fi convention and got his autograph decades ago. He was in the Star Trek movie Wrath of Khan. But he doesn’t get any credit because supposedly his agent got into some kind of fight with the producers about money so the people running the Star Trek production purposefully didn’t give Judson any credit even though he played a major character on Khan’s ship.
Hmmm… I'm 61, and I can truthfully say that I've never watched ANY of these shows. Not even once…
All of these plus MTV actually played music videos 24/7. What a decade.
It's funny, and ironic, because I don't even remember half of these shows? Mostly because my bedtime at that point was at 7:00 PM on a school day so I wouldn't have been able to stay up on a school night.
❤❤❤❤automan….the wizard…manimal..TRUE TRESURES…JEWELS. FROM 80S🤗🤗🤗🤗🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹THE BESTTIMES
the phoneix is alot suspect cant wait to discover more bet theres tons
My sister and I loved The Phoenix! We watched Automan, Manimal, The Powers Of Matthew Star, Misfits of Science. Wizards and Warriors was so good because we wanted Blackpool to win and that voice of Clive Revill as Vector was very cool!
A downvote for calling these shows 'tacky'. Wizards and Warriors was a great show.
dont remember one of these shows.
I love that with a lot of these you can draw a straight line to whatever big movie the TV series is trying to emulate.
I miss the 80s glad I have some of these shows on DVD

The 8os were the time of Sci-fi, magic and fantasy with the world of Tech staring to take place with the computers and such
Loved the Outlaws tv show. I would watch most of them all over again.
It’s a real shame the Starman show never went anywhere and wasn’t as good as the movie was. ❤
Dear sweet Buddha. I remember watching ALL of those….
Holy crap! I loved Automan as a kid. Ive asked many people my age if they remember it, and no one ever has. 😂
So fascinating seeing Tim Russ pre Star Trek Voyager playing a character named D.C. Fontana!
Terrible shite
Back then when they knew what a woman was
I'd love to live back in those times than in our time.
boy, this is something. Also, I was unaware you could have negative definition in image quality.
Sadly, out of all of these, the only show I was aware of and watched was "The Wizard."😢
I loved automan show why did it end…
Haha, it seems silly now, but for it's time, Automan was decent. There really wasn't much in the way of any big budget TV, much less sci fi in the 80s.
Starman was actually really good. It's not bad even by today's standards, but it was more or less prime time drama with a hint of sci-fi.
Outlaws was also decent. I was basically the reinvention the A-Team, but with cowboys from the old west in modern day.
Yeah, everything else on here was pretty stupid. Bad for even the 80s.
Wizards and Warriors was campy, comedic fun, they should do a remake lol
Uh oh. Time for some more reboots.
LOL, these had more cheese than a 4lbs brick of Velveeta!!!
Manimal with Simon MacCorkindale. The only thing I ever saw Simon in was Jaws 3 getting swallowed by the shark.
Ahh the halcyon days of my youth. I like to think of the 80s as a time when we had tons of great ideas but the technology just did not exist to express them as well as they get to do today.
I only remember seeing some of Manimal, The Phoenix, and Starman, but don't remember any of the others.
Loved Misfits of Science
Omg I remember watching manimal 😂
as a kid i rarely got the the chance to see most of these shows only recently i got to see Automan for the first time since i was born in the 80's i have better appreciation for these low budget shows of that era. well Automan was CGI in its early days so it may have cost them more.
