People for the love of God, teach your kids that cops are not their friends and they should not be talking to them all casual just because they are pretending to be their buddies. They will say and do whatever just to get that ticket & pat on the back from their superiors. People do too much talking and incriminating themselves or giving probable cause for police to do more to them just because they want to think being honest will help them, IT WON'T! Answer minimal questions and stay quiet.
That cop is an absolute legend, respectful, caring, and was willing to let the dude take a shot before he took him to jail. A king among men.
