I have a steam deck as well but Ive been playing my Switch more with the smaller hori controller the analog sticks are so nice as well as the buttons. Just wish there was vibration
ngl ive had many switches but since i bought my steam deck, i dont think i will go back to nintendo. ngl just sick of nintendos bs and emulation of nintendo games on the steam deck scratches the same itch for free.

ngl if the New Switch doesn't Allow Backwards like they did with the failed Wii U and did ports which almost all of the Wii U games just got ported on the Console, I'm done as I wished Sony would allow ONE update or something to allow ALL 5 Gen's on one Disc Drive than just cherry picking what They want to port for Emulation, Gaming is just getting too much each year being Very Low Income as this year only bought 4 games 2 for my Lite, 1 for my PS4, and 1 on Steam just due to how much games are getting… I just want to be able to play my older games on a Newer system than relying on older and slowly, aging, and dying hardware each year.

It's been 7 years since Switch launched and I want to get my hands in one, unfortunately I never am able to buy one. At this point, I am waiting for the announcement of Switch 2 and praying it has Backward compatibility, because if it doesn't, I won't commit the same mistake with 3DS. I will buy a Switch and buy as much games as I want before the shop is gone forever. Like, one of the reasons that makes me want to buy a Switch is because of some games that aren't in any other platform (not Playstation or Steam), and I don't know if all these games will make the transference for Switch 2 like they did with Switch. It will be a big mistake if Nintendo don't do Backward compatibility it's a big shot in the foot for them.
It's quite sad I never been able to even see one of Switch in person, but I still really hope I can get my hands in them at some point
The switch did something for me wich no console after the ps3 and wii had done for me…and thats encourage co-op and portability. How many times i brought my switch to somewhere, dock it and play stretchers, gang beasts with so much ease.
Funniest thing after the switch dropped was how many companies started following nintendo like a little dog and started dropping handheld like devices left right and center. Ultimatly bringing the toxic pc boys right up on our doorstep for no reason to brag on how much their particular brand system could do 😂. Like bish please let me play my zeldas and my marios without getting bullied for how much power (or lack there of) it has.

Id much prefer to own a gaming laptop which is many times stronger then the steam deck for only a couple hundred dollars more. The switch atleast has good battery life and first party Nintendo games. The deck has a pretty pathetic battery life.
My phone that costed me 290 euros runs for example minecraft 10x better then my 350 euro switch oled… I am not complaining just wanted to say the switch is showing its age

tbh I hate the joycons and the joysticks on the switch I hope to god they ditch the joycon gimmick for the switch 2 literally just make a more powerful switch about the same size maybe a little bigger full ass joysticks and buttons

I definitely wouldnt mind if the next nintendo handheld console was 720p if they just bumped the fps up to 60 on every game. Use the extra graphical power to have every game hit a consistent 60fps, I dont need 1080p much less 1440p/4k on such a small display
