  1. When it comes to shakes, there's one thing that bothers me about them: they are cold and they make me cold. I have heard many times not to eat/drink cold stuff too often, as it takes too much energy for your body to process them. I have been eating smoothies twice a day for a month now and I lost some weight but I am also losing my hair and my scalp is itchy and flaky. So no more smoothies for me for a while, at least. Also, I am menopausal and I have frequent hot flashes/night sweats.

    I love smoothies but I can see that they are not good for me for the time being.

  4. I agree…..if I talk to ten people, I will get ten different suggestions regarding healthy eating. I love fruit. I had been told recently that it was no better than soda. I’m so glad I can trust Dr. A!

  5. I'm very confused about all the diets out there – keto, paleo, mediterranean, vegan, etc. etc. All the information is so overwhelming and I'm not sure what to eat anymore. But that's why this video is super-helpful. It's so much easier to follow these 7 simple principles instead of a strict diet plan.. And these are things I can do easily and right away. Thanks for the great video!

  6. There's so much about diet on the internet that it's marvellous to find a simple, down-to-earth guide about nutritional principles. What I'll take away most about this video is to try and give more thought to my combinations of food at mealtimes and the order I might eat them in. And keeping an eye on sugar – it soon adds up!
