I trained my hamstrings first and strained it because I wasn’t warmed up enough. Now I train them 3rd or 4th after leg extensions adductors and leg presses or squats
Just use 2 small plates or get yourself some squat shoes if you can squat deep or if your lower back is rounding.

Funnily enough I do back squats first then RDLs but my hamstrings are huge, definitely underated for having a thick leg, but my needs are different to anyone elses and since people wanna neglect hamstrings, they'd do better training hamstrings first.
For me, I could only get my quads to grow once I tracked session tonnages, pushing it weekly by a few hundred kg was the ticket. Being completely jellyleg walking out of the gym was a good sign. If I could still walk properly, chances are I was slacking
