  2. I dieted hard for a period of 12 weeks. I had ice cream before bed every single night.

    I kept it in check and under control of course but rewarding yourself with an ice cream sundae with whipped cream, hot fudge, sprinkles and M&Ms made dieting during the day so much easier!

    I lost 23 lbs in 12 weeks just cleaning up my diet, no change elsewhere. Was only getting exercise when taking my dogs out 3 times a day.

    If you’re not a bodybuilder, build in a reward system like I did and it’ll make everything so much easier.

  5. Thank you, John. I turned 50 in December '21 and I'm back in to training with a PT and loving it. Nothing too serious but back doing something that I've always enjoyed.   8. My tip is: eat more veggies. I can only stomach so much rice, a bag of frozen veggies is full of carbs and nutrient dense, and flavorful. Veggies and protein make a great meal
