  1. i gave up on humans after season 2, not that it was bad, i completely forgot about season 3, and finally when i remembered that i missed season 3, it was too late, i forgot everything and had to start from season 1. I didnt bother to do that. Havent seen or even heard of any of the other 9 shows.

  2. Humans was such an amazing, heartwarming and heartbreaking series!!
Dirk Gently's Holistic Agency is a show I praise to everyone who will listen.

  3. I was heartbroken when I found out Santa Clarita Diet was not coming back. The last season was the best one so far and it had so many more ways it could have continued!!!

  4. Humans was a great series, but it's sadly clear why it got canned after the third season. The writers got hung up on certain plot lines for far too long and basically killed its momentum. I don't blame people for tuning out. Note to writers: it's never a good idea to drag out plots when you don't know how to fill out x episodes till the planned season finale. Humans had a rich wellspring of world-building and cast to tap into, but they squandered it.

The last season of Dark Matter suffered a similar fate, only the problematic plot lines mostly centered around new characters. Rather than moving forward with the all too many threads they already spun, which would have easily taken an entire season to cover, the writers sidelined many of them to force new crew into the mix who did little more than fix the problems they created.

  5. By the end of the video I lost count how many times I've said 'oooh they canceled it? No way… 😔'
That explains why I haven't found any more episodes of these shows…

  6. Not really recent, but the weirdest one for me was a 3 part SciFi mini from 2005 or so called The Lost Room. It was fairly popular, but produced by an outside group with a relatively expensive cast. SciFi declined to pick it up for a regular series, then turned around and mounted a similar but much less expensive series in Warehouse 13.

  7. The latest version of The Tick is so much more than just a superhero parody. To have it snatched away just when we were going to figure out where Tick came from and why he has no memories is so unacceptable and disappointing.

  8. While it only lasted 4 episodes (and was given up on WAY too soon) I liked the BBC adaption of Dirk Gently better as it didn't stray as far from the source material. That's not to say that the 2016 adaptation wasn't good, it was. But I also liked Stephen Mangan's portrayal of the title character better.
