In the UK, instead of ‘Q tips’ we would say ‘cotton buds’ usually. But if you do say Q tips most people will know what you mean 🙂

For anyone confused sometimes, "Q-tips" is actually a brand of cotton swabs, but they are one of the most well-known so most people usually refer to them by their brand name "Q-tips", rather than product name "cotton swabs" (at least in the USA maybe 🤷).

PSA don't use Q-tips to clean your ears. It jams ear wax into the back of your ears and can cause clogs and infections
