  1. I once met him in a lift in the ponds forge leisure center in Sheffield.i was with my dad and just leaving . I must have been about 11 or 12 and I remember watching him fight about a week after on TV with my dad he made me start boxing and I've been training ever since

  2. I was a little kid when prince retired but after I get into the sports and oh man when I first time saw princes video I thought it was some movie scene because of the entertainment he was giving to the people. A great boxer. Highly underrated, imagine social media invented in his time. He would've been the most entertaining athlete, not underrated, and of course rich. He literally once entered on a flying carpet, entertainment at peak. He used to dance in the ring.
Prince changed this perception by blending knockout power with high entertainment value, bringing a level of excitement that attracted both hardcore and casual fans.Prince was instrumental in bringing the featherweight division into the mainstream media spotlight. Before his rise, the lighter weight classes like featherweight rarely received the same attention as heavier divisions, such as heavyweight, which had stars like Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield. Heavyweight fights dominated the media because they were perceived as more exciting due to the higher knockout rates.
Naseem’s entrances were legendary, often involving elaborate setups that captivated audiences. His charisma and confidence, sometimes bordering on cockiness, made him one of the most entertaining fighters to watch, helping to popularize the sport beyond just boxing fans.
As a British-Yemeni fighter, prince brought attention to boxing within the UK and Middle Eastern communities, broadening the sport's appeal across different cultures.

(Edited) : His ability to generate knockout power in the featherweight division made him a unique figure. Despite his relatively light weight, he scored 31 KOs in 37 wins, showcasing that lower weight classes could be just as thrilling and explosive as heavyweight boxing.Although Naseem didn’t move up to lightweight during his career, his influence was felt across weight classes. He redefined what it meant to be a featherweight champion by bringing the charisma and intensity often associated with heavier divisions, setting a new standard for featherweights in terms of both performance and entertainment.
Prince Naseem remains a significant figure in boxing history, inspiring fighters with his fearless attitude and unforgettable performances in the ring.
And yeah true to his words :
"if I ever lose, I’ll never return," Not actual words of him but the same meaning of that he said. Highly underrated legend. And if y'all wanna see someone same like prince naseem watch Ben Whittaker. His moves are pretty much similar to prince. And to all the haters without knowing shat about the sport, hear what floyd Mayweather has to say about prince.
